The Sharper Image was a longtime favorite among gadget fans for innovation and design, and their tempting stores full of unique and somewhat pricey gadgets has been missed. Today at CES, Sharper Image returns with 24 new products ranging from beside stereo systems to stress relieving sound soothers™.
True, this is not the original company returned from the dead, but rather a newly formed company SI Products that has licensed the name from Sharper Image, which in turn is a licensing company owned by a group of investors who purchased what was left after the original collapsed.
But who cares? If you go to siproducts.com (and presumably soon to sharperimage.com as well), you’ll find a selection that, at first glance, seem to follow the tradition of the kind of product we’d come to expect from the Sharper Image. These include:
Whether these will be followed with glitzy stores and glossy catalogs remains to be seen. But even without them, these products are going to get attention on looks and features alone.
