Is The Game a hater? Photo: Comptongame.com.

It is practically impossible to get through an entire day without hearing the term "hater" being tossed around in daily conversation. The term has been used in blogs, comment areas, and has even made it's way to stories that appear in your local newspaper. Haters have become so prominent in Hip-Hop that some of the rappers that roam the genre have suffered a case of haterease (the excessive hater disease).

Now, don't get this confused with the rappers who think that people are hating on them when the general public has rated their presence and overall material a fail; in this case, we are talking about the hating rappers that go above and beyond to display their hate no matter what may be at stake.

Though there are a slew of rappers that have been hating since the dawn of time, there are a distinctive 5 that have revolutionized the hating game and have earned themselves the title of being the undisputed champions of hate.

WARNING: Videos may contain explicit language.

#5. Eminem

Eminem is known as one of Hip-Hop's most successful word-smith's. His wordplay is sometimes unmatched and he has been able to remain in the game and make a comeback worth writing home about, all thanks to his impressive hate game. When Eminem first stepped onto the scene, he made it a priority to hate on all things deemed pop culture including the artists that reign supreme in the genre. In song after song on almost all of Eminem's albums, he takes the time out to bash and jab at "the princess' of pop" like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, and even takes his hate in-house by directing some of that hate at his wife and even his mother. Though many have said that he has every right to take his daily dose of haterade, one thing is for sure, no one revolutionized hate and made it lucrative like Eminem.

#4. Cam'ron

Before Cam'ron decided to take a hiatus from Hip-Hop, he got his feathers in a bunch and decided to direct his hate on both Jay-Z and 50 Cent. The hate on Jay was due to Jay not being too pleased with Cam'ron's inclusion in Roc-A-fella Records, and more so an agreement to make Cam'ron President of the label that Jay helped build from the ground up (an agreement that was later flushed after Cam'ron demanded a pricey salary) while Jay was away playing President over at Def Jam. So how did Cam'ron exercise his hate? He simply implied in a freestyle that he participated in the horizontal tango with Jay's now wife Beyonce. Of course, their beef has since died down, but Cam's actions earned him the number 4 spot for taking a shot of that haterade.

#3. 50 Cent

If there could ever be a picture that resides in a dictionary next to the word "hater", it would be Mr. 50 Cent's picture that would get the honorary pick. 50 Cent has taken his hate to a whole new level, so much so, he has been permanently affiliated with controversy. Though 50 has had beef with practically everyone, there is one beef that sits on a pedestal higher than the rest. When 50 Cent first stepped foot into mainstream Hip-Hop he made sure to direct his hate at one of the most successful rappers at the time,Ja Rule. Turns out, the Queens natives had a little more history that was deeper than the eye could see even stemming from violence, but that is not what earned 50 the title. His hate came via his debut single "Wanksta" off of his album Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. Following the release of "Wanksta" ,that had a video depicting Ja Rule as a doll, 50 took to various media outlets to lay out his problem with Ja Rule. 50 felt that Ja Rule was not a real rapper and that he was a pop artist that liked to sing on songs and appear in video's shirtless. Funny thing is, 50 Cent not too far along into his career, when he started to gain noteriety, ended up singing on songs and appearing in videos and on stage at concerts shirtless; done like a true contradicting hater.

#2. Jim Jones

Though 50 is a contradicting hater, Jim Jones lives and breathes hate; his target was and still is Jay-Z but he has also directed his hate towards T.I. and even his ex-com padre Cam'ron. Jim Jones has made it an effort and first priority to drag Jay-Z's name in the mud every chance that he gets. He takes to radio stations, freestyles, and even vlogs to express his discontent with Jay's presence in Hip-Hop. Jim Jones has gone on record to say that he does not like Jay-Z because he talks about money too much; keep in mind, that almost all of Jim's released singles either solo or featuring, contain lyrical material where he raps about all things materialistic including money. Some have even speculated that his hate derived from him being bitter about not appearing on "Swagger Like Us". But that doesn't stop Jim, he believes that he is a truth teller and that people rely on him to keep it real. A real hater indeed.

#1. The Game

The Game leads the pack in hating and gives new meaning to hater participation. In less than a month, The Game has successfully gotten the attention he pondered so hard for by hating on, you guessed it, Jay-Z (do you see a pattern here?). Unlike the rest of the hating rappers on this countdown, The Game has successfully taken his hate outside of the United States and has officially acquired the title of an international hater. After performing a freestyle over a beat in Bordeaux, France last week, The Game decided to skip across pond to Madrid, Spain to pick up where he left off. But he didn't stop there, he also found time to make his way to the studio to put out a diss track to not only Jay-Z, but to Kanye West and his girlfriend and even added Beyonce to his hate equation, phenomenal. The Game's hater meter is on another level and it is only growing because a haters job is never complete.

These 5 rappers have given hate a brand new name, meaning, and have even turned it into a profession. Hating is not easy it is an art form, and even a school; and as you can see these rappers major in it and finish at the top of their class. They are truly ahead of the pack when it comes to bringing forth the true essence of hating and for that they are the top haters in Hip-Hop, a title well deserved.
