Last month, I covered Chrysler's announcement about their upcoming lineup of electronic vehicles. Well the company is taking those vehicles on the road and their first stop will be in Washington DC.

On Thursday and  Friday December 4th and 5th from 11am to 12 noon, Chrysler will showcase the Company's progress in advanced electric vehicle technology on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol with three ENVI vehicle concepts, one for each of its brands -- Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep(R).

On Thursday, the electric vehicles will be positioned on the North Side of the Russell Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill for display during the Senate Hearing. Lou Rhodes will be available for Q&A.

On Friday, the electric vehicles will be positioned in Garfield Circle at the base of Capitol Hill for display during the House Hearing. ENVI electric vehicle dvision Presidnet Lou Rhodes will be available during this session for Q&A.

Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli is here is DC this week during the second of two trips. He, GM CEO Rick Wagoner and Ford CEO Alan Mulally hope to persuade the U.S. government to adopt legislation to aid the domestic auto industry and continue to invest in industry-leading products, technologies and vehicles of the future. Aside from bolstering the company's pleas for government assistance, Chrysler hopes the vehicles will provide a glimpse into the automaker's future - one that includes more fuel efficient vehicles with broader appeal.
