Bruce in 2007 after siezure by Council

Bruce is a victim of breed specific legislation (BSL) and after nearly two years as a prisoner of the Irish SPCA is in immanent danger of being euthanized, possibly next week. My previous article 'Can social networking save Bruce the pit bull?' has the details.

Bruce's future is now in the hands of the public and Bruce needs your immediate action to save his life. Please take a few minutes of your time to email the following (email address are at bottom of link):

Urgent Plea for a Pardon/Intervention to Allow Export of Bruce

Urgent Plea to Refuse to Administer Fatal Injection

Call to remove Bruce to Southern Ireland Rescue Group

The more requests authorities receive the better the chance Bruce will be sent to live out his life at East Galway Animal Rescue.

Remember, Bruce has done nothing wrong. He has never been aggressive toward humans or animals and was seized simply due to his breed! Please find it in your heart to help Bruce.

This isn't an Irish issue or an American issue; it is a global dog advocacy issue and Bruce needs you, now...

So, please - everyone who believes BSL is wrong - send those emails, Twitter the cause, notify your friends and family through your email address books and get the word out there.  Save Bruce!
