This summer Starbucks introduced a new flavor Vivanno – Strawberry Banana. As part of Starbucks push to offer healthier drinks and food items, the Strawberry Banana Vivanno Smoothie joins the already popular Banana Chocolate and Orange Mango Vivanno Smoothies.
On June 30, Starbucks launched its “Real Food. Simply Delicious” campaign to bring real, wholesome foods to its customers. Removing the artificial trans fats, artificial flavors, artificial dyes and high-fructose corn syrup from everything in their food case, Starbucks hopes to lure back some of the consumers it lost to McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts. Will healthier, more natural ingredients do the trick? It's a good question. In the current economic climate, would consumers forgo health and wellness products just to save a little money? Only time will tell…
