Life Magazine just gave Google access to its entire library of photos.  That means all of its iconic photos are now searchable.  And believe it or not, there is a fantastic array of Life Magazine photos of the Boston Celtics. 

These are all high resolution photos that are big enough for you to use as a desktop background.  I really love this picture of Wilt Chamberlain apparently taking flight over the top of Bob Cousy and another Celtic I can't recognize.

The Celtics have the night off after last night's Knicks game.  The C's overcame the Kevin Garnett suspension to hold off the Knicks last night, despite a huge game from Wilson Chandler.  I'm an avowed Knicks hater, but my soft side makes me hope this kid doesn't succumb to the toxic atmosphere created by guys like Quentin Richardson. 

Great game last night from Brian Scalabrine, Leon Powe and Rajon Rondo.  Once again proving that the Celtics are a complete team that can get a big night from anyone at any time.  Next up, a rematch with a slowly-jelling Detroit team... and then it's the old faves Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night. 

I'm liking the Celtics agains the Pistons after a well rested KG comes off his forced day off.  I'm betting Minnesota will be tough.  Big Al probably wants to prove a few things.
