The entertainment industry has lost a beautiful icon.
Actress Farrah Fawcett has died in a Los Angeles hospital after a prolonged battle with anal cancer.
She was diagnosed in 2006.
A source for People Magazine reported this week that, “There was a moment last week when she was supposed to be released and was going home but things changed.”
On Wednesday evening, media sources began reporting that Farrah Fawcett was close to death.
Actor Ryan O’Neal was with the "love of his life" when she passed.
In an interview with Barbara Walters just days ago, the 68 year old actor revealed that he finally "has asked Farrah to marry him."
The two have one son, Redmond O’Neal, 24.
Farrah was 62.
