Twenty years later ... Here Comes Your Man. Again.

Mark your calendars, people. Pixies, one of the most pivotal rock bands of all times, are hitting Denver on a reunion tour this winter and tickets go on sale Sept. 12.

The big day for Denver is Nov. 16, the venue ... The Fillmore.

Unlike 2004's reunion tour, which saw original member's Frank Black, Kim Deal, Joey Santiago and David Lovering delivering impeccable renditions of Pixies songs from the gamut of the band's five-album discography, the 2009 tour is dedicated purely to 1989's Doolittle.

The four original members will perform all songs from the album (including Billboard hits like "Monkey Gone to Heaven" and Wave of Mutilation") and B-sides from Doolittle singles.

Denver is one of just nine U.S. cities on the tour (which also includes New York, L.A., Seattle, Oakland, Boston, Chicago, Eugene and Washington D.C.) following a handful of European stops and a number of sold-out shows in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

After the band's original break up in 1992, which was due primarily to disagreements between Black and Deal, Black went on to launch a solo career, Deal teamed up with her identical twin sister Kelley Deal to form The Breeders, Santiago played guitar on a few of Black's solo records and then began composing scores for films and TV shows and Lovering became a magician.

If any of you caught the last reunion tour, you know that despite being older, grayer and more ... uh, rotund (except for Santiago and Lovering who are actually kinda chiseled), Pixies still know how to belt it out.
