Carolina Fly Fishing Club

The Carolina fly-fishing Club (CFFC) , was established on August 1, 2006. It is an organization dedicated to the perpetuation of the sport of fly-fishing. The education and sharing of all information regarding the sport and recruiting of new members; the promotion of clean waters; the protection and preservation of the natural resources; plus angling ethics are their primary focuses. The club’s motto is : “From the mountains to the sea” , the membership is a mixture of freshwater and saltwater fly-fisher people. Women and children of all skill levels are invited to join. The club draws its body of members from both the states of North and South Carolina.

They are committed to the continued development of fly-fishing, fly-tying, and rod building. At meeting the members share their skills and knowledge amongst themselves. Plus, there are invited guest speakers brought in to give seminars and instruction. These speakers are professional fly-fishing guides and fly-tiers, both local and from across the country. Brought in to benefit to even the most advance members of the club. The club also coordinates fly-fishing events and trips for the enjoyment of the membership. There is an extensive library of books and videos available to all members. They meet monthly, offering quality educational programs. Regular meetings are held at the Gander Mountain Lodge Room in Mooresville, NC from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. At the general meetings door prizes will be given away, there is no charge for these meetings and the public is invited. Club dues are $15 for adults and $25 for the family. It stands for: “Project Healing Waters” and get involved in helping our nations disabled veterans recover from the trauma they have faced! Please join in and help the club in this effort, it is time to give something back to those who have risked and given so much for our country!
