
With all the fitness choices to choose from, it's no wonder yoga ranks tops among Bollywood actresses like Kareena Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty and Kangana Ranaut.
"I am completely into yoga," says actress Kareena Kappor.
The actress, who measures a size zero with sleekness and tone says she practices every morning for an hour and a half.
"I think yoga has changed my life," she says. "My morning yoga practice is something that keeps me going."
Power yoga and fitness consultant Leena Mogre, who has worked with faces like Katrina Kaif, Kangana and Sameera Reddy, says Bollywood celebrities are increasingly getting hooked into the physical and mental benefits of power yoga.
"[It's] a dynamic form of the art," says Mogre. "They are getting inclined towards it because the benefits are beautiful and it has spiritual, meditational and overall advantages."
Shilpa, who has an internationally recognized figure and credits yoga and karma with helping her find the love of her life, has helped bring yoga to the masses with her DVD collection of "Slipa's Yoga", which was first released during Summer, 2009.
"Yoga keeps my mind, body and soul fit. I had a neck problem and suffered from chronic spondylitis. So I started practicing yoga. I took professional training and it really benefited," Shilpa says. "‘I don’t believe in starving myself to remain thin. I eat well, work out and practise yoga to remain healthy. If you want to get peace for the mind, body and soul, yoga is the only answer,’ she added.
