Crescent City Farmer’s Market-
Crescent City Farmer’s Market has Adopt-a-Mirliton going on. This project is to help re-establish the mirliton as a backyard crop in New Orleans after nearly being wiped out after Katrina. Read more about it here. As usual, there is a long list of products typically available during this season, running from kettle corn to soaps, teas, gourmet rice, meats, seafood, and prepared foods. Saturday’s market is at 700 Magazine St. (corner of Girod & Magazine) from 8 a.m.-12 a.m.
German Coast Farmer’s Market-
