According to the FAA, two people lost their lives in a plane crash this morning.
The plane went down in the back yard of a home located approximately 1 mile from Athens Benn Epps on the East side of Athens.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
The plane was, reportedly, a Fuji LM1; a Japanese Light Communications aircraft built in 1957.  Spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen described the craft as an exhibition plane.
