The 5th Annual Ocean Springs Music Festival will rock out on October 24th and 25th in the sleepy little town of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Music, great food, friends and family is what binds the south together more than just about any thing else. This year, the entertainment bill will be full of spice, sass and good ole rock and roll. The line up will be as follows; Saturday October 24th --- features local and regional artists Marianne Allison, Delta State University’s “‘Ol Skool Revue,” Swampnoise, Subtle Shot, El Cantador, and the Josh Ewing Trio on the front lawn of the Mary C. The gates will open at 11 a.m. and music will finish up around dark.
If you’re a blues, Mardi Gras, jazz funky, funk kind of person then you won’t want to miss out hearing The Preservation Hall-Stars from New Orleans. The founding band members passed on their music and styles down to the younger generations who now follow in their footsteps.
On Sunday October 25th there will be even more music as well as suds, wine and delicious foods provided by Shady’s Global Grill. This year’s stage is to be sponsored by Rex Distributing.
Ticket prices vary from $35 - $10 depending on how many days you want to attend. Tickets can be purchased online at wwwTheMaryC.org or at their office, Tuesday through Saturday 10a.m.- 6p.m.
