Every first Saturday of the month, the Mary C. O’Keefe cultural center in Ocean Springs, Mississippi has what is called; Saturday art market on the grounds. The Mary C. O’Keefe cultural center is located at 1600 Government St
Ocean Springs, MS 39564. And is situated in the old Ocean Springs high school building. Local artists, whether known or ground breaking are invited to share with the public their paintings, pottery or what other art they delve in. Artists are allowed to sell their art work, or just use the opportunity to display their work. The public is welcome to visit the Mary C. O’Keefe cultural center Tuesday through Saturday 10;00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
To participate in the art market, you can request an application, choose your Saturday and pay a small fee of $10. Artists are required to provide their own table, chairs, and refreshments. You will also have a choice to display your work inside the building or on the beautiful lawn; you may also pay for more than one month at a time as well and the hours for the art market are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
