The iPhone Just Got Rick Rolled.

After a security flaw revealed this summer detailed how the iPhone could be vulnerable to certain text messages, a new hole in the iPhone has been found, this time by a 21-year-old Australian student. Ashley Towns, who claims to be the author of the iPhone's first worm, says that he was just trying to wake people up and that the worm is not malicious.

In that regard, the "ikee" worm might be the most successful Rick Roll in history. A Rick Roll is an Internet prank involving 1980's pop star Rick Astley, with the usual method of delivery being a YouTube video with a provocative name turning out to be a rendition of "Never Gonna Give You Up" by the singer. The ikee worm changes the iPhone wallpaper to a picture of the pop singer with the caption "ikee is never gonna give you up."

But don't worry, the worm only effects those who have jailbroken their iPhone and only works on those who haven't changed their SSH password.

Next up: The "All Your iPhone Are Belong To Us" worm.
