When the MTV Video Music Awards were held in Las Vegas two years ago, they marked the sketchy comeback of Britney Spears and sets from artists all over the Palms.
Alas, the VMAs took to New York this year, but that didn’t mean any less drama. Kanye West opted to pre-empt Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech with a tirade of his own about how Beyonce should have won in a category in which she wasn’t even nominated.
