Want to find the perfect outfit for a dinner at Bouchon, brunch at Simon or a meeting with clients at Triple George? Banana Republic thinks it has the answer. On Sept. 4, the national chain opens a concept store at Fashion Show mall that promises to be designed like a walk-in closet with a residential feel.
“Las Vegas is a mecca for the best in retail. Our new store design provides an experience that both loyal local shoppers and visitors from outside the area will appreciate and remember. We're excited to open the first of these stores here,” says Banana Republic President Jack Calhoun.
A circular plaza anchors the floor and serves as a hub filled with accessories from handbags and jewelry to shoes. Instead of traditional window displays, shoppers can see right into the store.
The new location contains a professional stylist, hemming services and even check out services in the fitting rooms. Shoppers can even buy online at a Web kiosk and skip the shipping charges.
The new Banana Republic represents the fifth such store in the world. For the Vegas store, executives plan to include an artwork program with photographs documenting Las Vegas’ storied past. Concierge services are available to help shoppers take full advantage of Las Vegas life through restaurant reservations, show tickets and entertainment recommendations.
