Underland Press, known for publishing books of dark fantasy and horror, is holding a contest to promote the release of one of their new books, Chaos. Written by a Dutch husband and wife team (known as Escober), Chaos tells the story of British soldier Alex Fisher, who returns from a stint in Bosnia, only to be plagued by nightmares and uncontrollable bouts of violence.
In an attempt to escape these episodes, he starts traveling across the world, fighting to piece together his shredded memories and fragile psyche--but his personal demons take on a life of their own and won't let him find peace so easily. Soon, he's wrapped up in an increasingly dangerous affair with a woman who may or may not be a figment of his imagination.
How do you enter the contest? The question Underland Press is asking is "Are you an agent of Chaos?" Email a story to deepeight@live.com about anytime you have struck a blow for chaos, whether it was bashing open a vending machine or spray-painting anarchist slogans down at the local train tracks. On successful receipt of your story, they'll enter you in a drawing for a one-of-a-kind gift pack featuring the new book Chaos, plus a military issue map bag containing:

Underland Press focuses on discovering and publishing books that scare people--be it a monster mash-up or a psychological roller-coaster that keeps you wondering what is real and what isn't. As their mission statement reads:
CALL IT THE NEW WEIRD, or fantasy, or dark fantasy. Call it what you want. We like reading by flashlight under the covers at night. We want to make books you can’t put down.
In the past, they've published works by notables such as Jeff VanderMeer, with his new Ambergris novel, and have experimented with different publication models by pioneering the first ever wovel (web novel) with author Kealan Patrick Burke.
