The U.S Holocaust Memorial Museum is scheduled to reopen its doors today at 10:00a.m after closing yesterday to honor slain security guard Stephen T. Johns.

Johns, who worked at the museum for six years, was gunned down Wednesday afternoon when 88-year-old James von Brunn opened fire at the museum's front entrance.

Von Brunn was wounded in the incident. He remains at George Washington University Hospital in critical condition. He has since been charged with the murder of Johns.
