Video: 8 illegal immigrants killed in Arizona after SUV rolls over

This Arizona Department of Public Safety photo shows an overturned SUV early Sunday, June 7, 2009 on a remote southern Arizona highway. According to reports, 8 illegal immigrants were stacked in the back of the vehicle and killed. At least 22 in total were inside the SUV. The victims are believed to be from Equador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. (AP)
Just before midnight on Sunday outside of Sonoita, Ariz., an SUV was involved in a rollover accident killing 8 illegal immigrants.
Police said all 22 occupants of the SUV were ejected when the crash occurred. They also stated to fit inside the vehicle, the individuals were “stacked like wood.”
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation and criminal charges may be sought.
