Saltaire of the Earth

Looking for something that's York Peppermint Patty sensation-provoking to add to your sartorial repertoire?

The Saltaire clothing line, launched in 2003 in Seattle by Tommy Bahama alum Michael Black, has just two locations in the U.S. -- Dallas and Las Vegas -- but the line is sold at select Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.

In Houston, the Norton Ditto store at Kirby and Alabama carries Saltaire among its business casual lines. According to Brian Weierbach, Norton Ditto's men's clothing buyer, the line has done well at the store. "It goes beyond just Hawaiian prints. It's a neat little line," he said.

Look out for more Saltaire to fill Norton Ditto's shelves at its new location in The Woodlands in March '09.

For more info: Saltaire's Dallas store is located at NorthPark Center8687 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75225.
