Packing 101: What should I pack for a wedding trip?
Wedding Packing Tips:
- Fit everything into one suitcase if possible; use two suitcases if needed but have one designated for your tuxedo or dress.
- Considering weddings are usually more than one ceremony, you might want to pack extra dress attire for post-reception get togethers and brunches.
- Make sure to keep your nice shoes in separate plastic bags to keep from scuffing during the trip.

First, before you think about packing, you need to know whose wedding it is. This is dependant on what you will wear and how many clothes you should pack because of your position in the wedding.
If you're the best man/woman:
- Appropriate tuxedo - The groom should help you pick out an appropriate tuxedo to wear as the best man.
- Appropriate dress - If you're the maid of honor, then the bride will pick out a dress for you, unless she's free willed and leaves that option open to you.
If you're a bridesmaid/groomsmen:
- For bridesmaids, the bride will choose a dress design and style. So, just worry about getting there on time and looking beautiful.
- For groomsmen, the groom will usually pick a color scheme for all of you to wear, if not then get together with the other groomsmen so you're all matching.

If you're part of the wedding or not, you must dress properly. Keep in mind that this is the bride and groom's day, so don't wear anything too provocative or distracting.
