Does it get much cheaper than free?

Free always has a catch. But is it a catch when in order to get the free all you have to do is purchase a beer? Hardly.
The Alligator Lounge (Williamsburg, more info) and the Crocodile Lounge (Manhattan, more info) both offer free pizza with each beer you order. How much pizza can you eat in one sitting? These are great places to find out. The Crocodile Lounge also has a busy trivia night that's worth checking out.
They are regular personal-sized pies. Depending on the size of the crowd the pizzas can be really good or just okay -- cooked nice and crispy or pulled out of the oven a bit too soon. But how much can you complain when they're free? For a few extra dollars they can throw on a variety of toppings.
Entertainment, dinner and drinks -- all for the price of a beer!
