After a weekend of cookouts and a summer of grilling, you might be ready to wean yourself from some of the heavier, traditional cook-out fare for some New England seafood. Not all fish is great on the grill, but don't be shy of seafood on skewers or straight on the grill.
Menu
A simple dinner of scallops (the larger the better) tossed in some olive or canola oil with a little lemon zest, salt, and pepper is perfect for a simple weeknight dinner or for a casual dinner party. Throw some fresh ciabatta on the grill. Toss some farmer's market lettuce with a simple vinaigrette. Whip up some heavy cream with Frangelico and toss the last of the farm fresh strawberries in a bowl. Dinner is served.

As for where to get your fish there are some great options. Now that my favourite shack has been torn down I have been forced to find a replacement,
I love Globe Fish, which I meet at the Lexington Farmer's Market to purchase my fish for the week.
I recently ate at Captain Marden's Seafood in Wellesley and my daughter had the most delicious mussels. We didn't have time to buy seafood to bring home, but we will next time. In any case the trucks can be seen around town dropping off their fish to various restaurants and stores.
If you're up north at the beach, then stop by a local fish shack and pick up some seafood. If the place is busy, seems to have locals, and smells of the ocean not pungent and "fishy" then you can't go wrong.
Yelpers like these seafood shops: Court House, Legal Sea Foods, Moulton's and New Deal Fish Market.
Wulf's is also a much loved fishmonger.
