This month is recognized as National Hispanic Heritage Month. The month centers around the Independence Day celebrations of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Mexico. We honor the culture, traditions and contributions of citizens that trace their roots to Spain, Mexico and the Spanish-speaking nations of Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
