Mindful Tails, offering pet care training and wellness in the New York area, along with Tavi & Friends, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals with unique challenges, will be hosting a pet health training class at Animal Haven Soho for you and your furry child this Saturday, June 6, from 3:30-5:30pm.
Not only will the event greatly benefit you and your pet, but the proceeds benefit Tavi & Friends and Animal Haven too.
Why will this event benefit you and your pet?
Specializing in The Tellington TTouch® Method, a focused holistic and gentle way to train your pets for optimum health, the certified instructors of Mindful Tails will show you how to promote optimal behavior and health for your pet.
Simple, easy to use techniques are employed to enhance the quality of your pet’s life and also reduce tension and stress when dealing with issues such as excessive barking, jumping, leash pulling, aggressive behavior, fear or shyness, prior injury, excitability or nervousness, grooming resistance, aging, car sickness or any other behavioral or physical issue.
The TTouch method offers a positive approach to training which is based on cooperation and respect, using a combination of specific touches and movement exercises designed to maximize your pet’s self-confidence.
This class is the first in the new TTouch® Tips series which will focus on making summer vacation time stress-free! Whether you plan to travel with your pet this year or you plan on boarding him or her, TTouch will help ease separation anxiety, fear of riding in cars, car sickness, acclimating to a different environment and unfamiliar people and other stress related issues.
Even if your pet doesn’t have any behavioral or physical issues, this system can provide both you and your pet with an even better way of communicating, leading to a happier and healthier life!
