If you’ve spent any time outdoors, you know that people are susceptible to bee stings, snake bites, broken bones, hypothermia, and, oftentimes, plunge into rivers, lakes, ravines, gorges, gulches, coulees, canyons, and over cliffs.
This initial sixteen-hour training session at REI Bloomington, sponsored by the Backcountry Trail Patrol Association and Emergicare Medical Training, will prepare you for the advanced WFA/CPR class the weekend of February 20-22 at the Maple Grove REI. Click here for more information.
After successfully completing both the beginning and advanced classes, you’ll be awarded certification through the AAOS.

Playing outside has its hazards as well as its rewards. Learn the skills and knowledge to make your friends indebted to you forever. Or, at the very least, buy you a case of Summit.
Registration deadline is January 5th.
