The Kickouts
Its rare these days to find a young, up and coming band that can play the blues – and really play the blues. But when they can, bands like The Black Keys are testament to how receptive the audience is – today’s rock fans want the blues…bad.
Introducing Aussie band The Kickouts….gritty guitar, solid beats and some great harmonica (what blues fan doesn’t appreciate a harmonica?) - but this is modern blues – far from down-trodden southern drawl, The Kickouts inject a solid dose of fast rock into the music mix with a vocalist who even sometimes channels the late great 80s rock/pop icon, Michael Hutchence. A musical hybrid that touches a realm of senses..in short, The kickouts, will kick ass - so watch this space.
