Despite the long-lingering cold weather, we need to be reminded that Spring is here again and the time to wear pastels, bright colors, sandals, white, Capri's, get a mani-pedi is now.

Of course, on a day like today, the first Thursday after Memorial Day, we still are wearing sweaters, and likely a scarf and jacket.

“Where is the Spring?”  Everyone asks.

To be reminded, the good weathermen and weather-women of our town have been promising that this weekend will be nice. It’ll be sunny and warmer.

For one thing, despite the cold, the days have gotten longer. And you know what that means.

It’s much more fun to hang out into the evening while there is still sunlight out, sunglasses on, holding your glass of wine or martini, while flirting with some cutie across the room, or even across the street, because chances are you’re at an outdoor hang out.

Oh yes, outdoor hang outs. We long for them all winter. They are great places to escape, whether you’re out to meet new people, out with friends or on that special date. So, their time is finally here.
