Is Kate getting her own show?

Kate Gosselin made a trip to Hollywood and met with studio executives, according to a new online report.

Radaronline.com is saying that Kate flew to Hollywood on Monday of this week -- sans kids, of course -- for a quick trip returning Wednesday night.

Kate apparently checked into the ritzy Bel-Air hotel, and was spotted hanging out at the pool in a bikini. Maybe now that Kate's kids clothing line has been shelved she can come out with her own bikini line for Walmart instead.

She was also seen having lunch with two other women, and afterwards they drove to Burbank and met near the Warner Brothers studio lot.

So is Kate trying to strike an entertainment deal of her own now that her other business ventures are falling apart and the future of her TLC show Jon and Kate Plus 8 is in question? While some might speculate this is the beginning of talks to make the Jon and Kate movie, since Warner Brothers handles the Ellen Degeneres Show and the Tyra Banks Show, it's more likely that Kate is angling for her own talk show which would certainly be some kind of Martha Stewart/Rachael Ray hybrid.

Kate seems to hold her own when appearing on various daytime shows as a guest, but that's just for a 5-10 minute segment. Kate Gosselin as a daytime talk show host? I'm not feeling it.
