There's "no going back" for Jon and Kate
A new video aired by TLC teasing the upcoming Jon and Kate announcement special on June 22 is doing nothing to squash the rumors that Jon and Kate are announcing their divorce.
In the video, Kate says:
We haven't really known where we were going, but we've been dealing with this for a long time. A slow progression that has not popped up one day, it's not been like, a secret... we can't go back now, we can only go forward, and that's what we're going to do... and I know we'll all come out of this on the other side stronger, better, wiser.
Jon acknowledges that the tabloid coverage hasn't helped matters, and that while he's changed, he's become the Jon that he really is. Sure sounds like they're getting divorced to me. Then again, so did the promos for the Season 4 finale, so who knows. We'll find out Monday if it's really the end of Jon and Kate Gosselin or if we've been played by TLC once again.
Coincidentally enough, before this "big reveal" about the turmoil of their relationship, it looks like the rest of the show will once again display Kate's complete lack of self-awareness, as she goes into control freak mode over the delivery of the kids new (and presumably free) Crooked Houses.
