Miss Texas pageant crowns Kristen Blair

Kristen Blair, 22, of Forth Worth is the new Miss Texas, according to an Associated Press dispatch.
Kristen was crowned Friday night in Fort Worth. She held the Miss North Texas title.
Kristen earned a $12,000 scholarship, AP reported. She is a student vocal performance at the University of North Texas.
In January, she travels to Las Vegas to compete in the Miss America pageant.
