Mrs. Mississippi Suzanne Duckworth (Miss Mississippi Organization Photo)

Suzanne Duckworth, of Ridgeland, Mississippi was crowned Mrs. Mississippi America June 20 in Southaven.

Mrs. Duckworth will represent the married women of Mississippi in the 2010 Mrs. America Pageant on Sept. 8 at Loew’s Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona.

Suzanne,30, is married to Matt Duckworth, and she is a Registered Nurse.  Suzanne was crowned by Mrs. Mississippi 2008, Helen McDaniel, 45, of Ridgeland.

To qualify, contestants must have been at least 18 years of age, married, a resident of Mississippi for at least six months (residency at a military base was acceptable) and of good moral character.  Contestants were judged in four categories, including personal interview, beauty, swimsuit and evening gown, each worth 25% of her total score.
