A very good way to release stress is to exercise. There are many good reasons to incorporate exercise into everyday life. Stress relief occurs on many levels.

First certain exercise activities such and kick boxing or martial arts can help release the low grade anger and competitive feelings that sometimes come with a build up of stress.

Secondly, exercise can produce what is commonly called “runner’s high.” This feeling is associated with the release of hormones throughout the body that relieve stress.

Also, physical exercise can be a very nice distraction from everyday stresses.

Often individuals work out in a gym, walk at a park, or play a team sport for their exercise. In these situations a social network is often formed, and that in itself will decrease the feelings of stress.

Regular exercise helps individuals feel better, look better, and handle everyday stresses more easily
