Jaycee Lee Dugard, who was kidnapped in 1991 at the age of 11 from a school bus stop and held captive for 18 years, is slated to tell her harrowing story on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show.
Sex offender Phillip Garrido and his wife, Nancy, are accused of abducting, raping, and holding Jaycee captive for almost two decades. Each has pleaded not guilty to the 29 felony charges against them.
According to the Mirror, Jaycee is expected to appear on Oprah in Dec. for a fee of $1 million.
In the past, Oprah interviewed Gerry and Kate McCann, a British couple whose daughter, Madeleine, went missing in 2007, while the family was vacationing in Portugal. The McCann’s have publicly announced that Jaycee’s case has given them hope that little Madeleine is still alive.

Jaycee, now 29, and her two daughters—fathered by Garrido—have been reunited with her family. A spokesperson for Jaycee’s family said “We hope Jaycee’s safe return will give hope to Madeleine’s family.”
