Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez wants phone and Internet records

Jose Baez, attorney for Casey Anthony, filed a motion requesting cell phone records, text messages, Internet usage information, WAP usage, P2P communications, and cell phone tower pings of a number of different people.
The motion states, these items are “material to the preparation of the defense in this case.”
The records requested are from Casey’s former best friend, Amy Huizenga, as wekk as those of Casey's ex-boyfriends, Jesse Grund, Ricardo Morales, and Tony Lazarro.
Also requested are the records of Orange County Deputy Richard Cain. He is the officer who responded to the Aug. 2008 tip by Roy Kronk about a suspicious object in the wooded area where Kronk would later find Caylee Anthony’s remains in Dec 2008. Baez wants Roy Kronk’s records as well, along with those of private investigators Dominic Casey and Jim Hoover.
Keith Williams says that he searched the wooded area where Caylee was later found and his records have also been requested.
Finally, Baez has requested the records of Casey’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony.
Casey is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. Her trial is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 12.
