On Tuesday, Melissa Huckaby, the Sunday school teacher accused of murdering 8-year-old Sandra Cantu was arraigned.
Huckaby appeared to remain calm when the judge read the charges against her, including murder, kidnapping, and lewd and lascivious acts on a child. But when the judge announced she was being charged with rape, Huckaby became very emotional.
Huckaby did not enter a plea and the matter was continued to Apr. 24.
