According to recent reports, a source at the Orange County Jail, Casey Anthony, 22, was heard Saturday night saying a well-known 18th century child's prayer:
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep;
Should I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
The source said, "I don't know if she was praying for herself or for little Caylee. But since I've never heard anyone say they've heard her praying before, as a believer, I think it's a step in the right direction."
Anthony is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.
