Caylee Anthony

Wednesday, authorities released entries from Casey Anthony’s journal dated June 21, 2008, which was five days after her daughter Caylee Anthony disap- peared.

In the journal, Anthony writes, “…no regrets, just a bit worried… I completely trust my own judgment and know that I made the right decision… This is the happiest I have been in a long time.”  Click here to read the journal.

Two-year-old Caylee went missing on or about June 16, 2008.  According to Anthony, she dropped Caylee off with a babysitter and has not seen her since.  Florida investigators reported that the babysitter does not exist and the supposed address of the babysitter was an apartment that had not been occupied for months.

In December 2008, bones were found near the Anthony home in a wooded area that were identified as Caylee's remains.

Casey is expected to stand trial for the first-degree murder of Caylee in the fall of 2009.
