Charles Barkley, 45, will return to TNT’s NBA coverage on Thursday after a leave of absence prompted by his recent arrest.
In the wee hours of Dec. 31, 2008, Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley was arrested for a DUI. He was stopped in Old Town Scottsdale, Ariz. with a blood alcohol level of .149, almost twice the legal limit.
Barkley told police he was going to get oral sex from a woman he had picked up just before being stopped. He claimed he and the women had engaged in the activity a week before.
Additionally, the police report indicated Barkley asked the police if he could get out of a DUI by getting one of their names tatooed on his posterior.
A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Mar. 13 in Scottsdale City Court.
