Enquirer report about Casey Anthony and her anger regarding ‘Tot Mom’ play refuted by jail source

The National Enquirer story entitled ‘Murder Mom Drama Queen’ is untrue, according to a source at the Orange County Jail, where accused killer, Casey Anthony, is being housed.
The article revolved around an Australian play created by Oscar winning director, Steven Soderberg. The Sydney Theatre Co. production, called ‘Tot Mom’ is based on the Casey Anthony case and will reportedly star renowned actress, Cate Blanchett, and run from December through the end of January.
The Enquirer reported that news of the play made Casey so enraged that she yelled “Are you [expletive] kidding me? You get my [expletive] lawyer, now!“ The tabloid’s alleged source was an inmate who said “Casey was completely out of control after hearing about the play. She was screaming so loud that a guard threatened to lock her in an isolation unit. She demanded that guards contact her attorney, Jose Baez.” Click here to read the Enquirer article.
Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel spoke with Allen Moore, a spokesman for the Orange County Jail, who said “The National Enquirer has demonstrated a reckless regard for the truth with regard to Casey Anthony’s incarceration.” He also said Casey has never acted inappropriately or “…created a disturbance in the jail. She is basically a very compliant inmate.”
Moore added, “If all inmates were as compliant as Miss Anthony, there would be no problems in jail.”
Many in the public are still outraged by the play’s subject matter and the Australian theater company has received numerous complaints. Nonetheless, according to the company, it will no make “…no profit from this production.”
Additionally, because ‘Tot Mom’ is being produced in Australia and uses public records, along with transcripts from Nancy Grace’s HLN show, no one will be compensated for material used in the play.
Casey is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony, and is scheduled to stand trial in June 2010.
