Meryl Streep, George Clooney's wife in 'Fantastic Mr. Fox,' appears on 'Regis and Kelly' -- Actor Meryl Streep appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly Monday morning to promote her new animated feature film, Fantastic Mr. Fox. The movie is an adaptation of the children's novel by Roald Dahl.
Co-host Regis Philbin asked Ms. Streep about her family. She has a daughter who is an actress and another daughter who just completed college with a degree in Italian but who also just got an acting role on the TV network, Nickelodeon. Ms. Streep is the mother of four.
When co-host Kelly Ripa asked Ms. Streep about how voicing animated movies works, the actor explained that she had to fly to Paris to do her job for this film, and that she performed her role in a studio by herself.
Streep plays the wife of George Clooney, who plays Mr. Fox.
The family film opens across the United States on November 25, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
