Wizards of Waverly Place

Get ready, Wizard fans. Next month, the Disney Channel brings us the first Wizards of Waverly Place movie. The Russo family takes a Caribbean vacation and things go awry when daughter Alex tussles with mom Theresa and ends up inadvertently placing a spell on both her parents. The parents, Theresa and husband Jerry, can’t remember ever meeting. It’s up to Alex and brothers Justin and Max to get their parents back together again. Max goes off to make them fall in love again while Alex and Justin (Selena Gomez and David Henrie)  face troubles in the jungle as they search for the Stone of Dreams which is the only thing that can cancel out the spell.

The movie premieres on August 1st as part of the Disney Channel Summer of Stars program. Here’s a peek at the trailer of the Wizards of Waverly Place movie.
