The “2009 American Music Awards” will be held on Sunday, November 22 at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE. Artists will be honored in the categories of Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Latin and Contemporary Inspirational. For the third year, winners are determined by online voting at amavote.com, the official voting location. Votes were collected from October 16 to November 13. For the first time ever, dick clark productions, inc. will stream a live pre-show on the red carpet for the “2009 American Music Awards” on November 22nd, 2009 at 3:00 PM (PT) / 6:00 PM (ET). The "Official AMA Pre-Show” presented by Coca-Cola, will feature hosts Julie Moran, Jenni Pulos, Jai Rodriguez and Taryn Southern as well as the "Coke Correspondent" winner of the ongoing national competition to become a red carpet correspondent at the 2009 AMAs.
Here are the performer list: 50 Cent, Adam Lambert, Alicia Keys, The Black Eyed Peas, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Eminem, Green Day, Janet Jackson, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Mary J Blige, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Soshy, Timbaland, Shakira, Whitney Houston and more surprises.
Here are the presenters: Colbie Caillat, Demi Lovato, Dominic Monaghan, Donny Osmond, Drake, Jason Aldean, Jeremiah, Joe Perry, Julie Bowen, Kate Hudson, Kelly Osbourne, Keri Hilson, Kid Cudi, Kris Allen, Kristen Bell, Leona Lewis, Melissa Etheridge, Michelle Rodriguez, Morena Baccarin, Mya, Ne-Yo, Nicole Kidman, Orianthi, Paula Abdul, Perez Hilton, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Ryan Seacrest, Samuel L. The 37th Annual American Music Awards are produced by Larry Klein and executive produced by Orly Adelson.
