Corvette ZR1 Loses to FA 18 Fighter of Blue Angels
The Corvette ZR1was no match in a race with a FA 18 Blue Angels Fighter. 628 horsepower up against 32000 pounds of afterburner thrust over a mile runway, just didn't have a chance. The Corvette was blown off the runway at about 80 mph, barely getting rolling. Motor Trend tried to make this dramatic, so the action in the video starts about 8 minutes in.
