Remember the “American Pie” movies? How the first one was actually pretty good, the second was pretty bad, and the third was pretty pointless? Then there were the straight-to-video sequels which were just worthless movies with no redeeming qualities whatsoever, remember those? What do you think would happen if you combined all the bad moments from all those movies and threw in random parts from the ever-growing “National Lampoon’s” catalog? It’s pretty safe to say that you’d end up with “Miss March.”

Eugene (Zach Cregger) and his long time girlfriend have come to an agreement. They’re going to have sex on prom night. But before Eugene can seal the deal, he falls down a flight of stairs and has a toolbox crash down on his head, putting him in a coma. Fast forward four years, Eugene’s best friend Tucker (Trevor Moore) hits him in the head with a baseball bat, subsequently bringing him out of his coma. Eugene wonders where his girlfriend is, when Tucker informs him that he hasn’t seen her in years. They then find out that she’s the current Playmate of the Month in Playboy magazine. This sends the boys on a cross-country road trip to the Playboy Mansion, where, hopefully, Eugene can reunite with his long lost love.

A comical road trip, huh? Seen one and you’ve seen them all. Actually, seen one and you've seen one better than "Miss March." This movie would have probably fared well at the box office 10 years ago, but the sex comedy has really taken a nosedive over the last several years. Has anyone seen the numbers for “Sex Drive?” Releasing this movie in theaters was probably the biggest mistake Fox Atomic could have made. Oh wait, they also put out “12 Rounds.” No wonder that division of Fox Searchlight imploded.

This movie isn’t all bad. Craig Robinson (known mostly for his role as Darrel on “The Office”) plays an over-the-top rapper, whose name isn’t fit to print. Practically every funny moment in the film comes from something involving Robinson, as he is probably the only person in this movie who can actually act. The two leads, Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore do a mind-numbingly bad job in their respective roles, with Moore narrowly inching out Cregger as the worst actor in this movie. Watching the way Moore plays his character will make the viewer wonder who directed this garbage. When they find out that Cregger and Moore co-directed it, they’ll wonder who got fired and will never work in Hollywood again for giving this project the green light.

“Miss March” is a complete waste of time. It’s the kind of movie that is rated R, but was made for 13-year-old boys whose local video store will rent them anything. I’m not exactly sure if those 13-year-old boys wouldn’t be insulted by this haphazard chicanery as well. You will be.

The unrated (ooo la la) DVD is available now, containing 3 extra minutes of useless footage, along with very few special features, because they knew no one was going to care.
