  How to make Twitter Icon green

If you notice your Twitter follower's icon turning green, do not adjust your monitor. Making your Twitter icon greet was the idea of Arik Fraimovich (@arikfr) who set up  helpiranelection.com looking for support for the people who fight for democracy at Iran,

Fraimovich wants you to change your Twitter avatar to a green overlay, called the official color of the movement.

By visiting their page, your avatar or icon to green using Twitter’s OAuth authentication and will automatically tweet a support message.

Remember, this will permanently make your Twitter avatar/icon green until you change it back. If you don't want to use their site, consider using Microsoft’s Photo Editor.

TimOReilly and MC Hammer have gone green, you know its trending at  #iranelection where hundreds of Twitter profile avatars are going green. Over 100,000 people have made their Twitter avatar green and hundreds are changing daily. Here are more green Twitter icons which people are using.
