Join me this Saturday June 20 for the sneak preview of L‘amour Couture line with hot Chicago accessories designer Agnes B. Miles and her company Love, Lulu Mae.

The line consists of amazing hair accessories that are hand-crafted from everything vintage! From buttons, paper, antique jewels and exotic feathers.

Here is a little background on the up and coming company Love, Lulu Mae:

  • The designer, Agnes B. Miles, gets inspiration from the “style of the women of the 1930’s and 1940’s; Agnes models every piece she designs and creates after them."
  • The company made its first appearance in 2007 with rave reviews from DailyCandy and Time Out Chicago. The pieces from the burlesque-inspired collection have been seen in magazines like Vanity Fair , People, and InStyle.
  • The pieces have been worn by Hannah Aitchison (tattoo artist from the show L.A. Ink), Prive (hairstylist and owner of hot spot salon Prive in Hollywood and New York City), and Michelle L‘amour (a neo-burlesque performer).

This brings me back to the event this Saturday!  Love, Lulu Mae have partnered up Michelle L’amour to create a very new but old Hollywood inspired collection called L’amour Couture. The couture line will be completely couture and by that I mean the pieces will be hand-crafted with Swarovski crystals, hand-dyed ostrich feathers, and vintage fabrics. The price ranges of the pieces will be from $50 to $1,000 and will be available for purchase online at Love, Lulu Mae.

The event this Saturday will show the public a sneak preview of L’amour Couture and will be held from 8pm to midnight at Studio L‘amour in the west loop (939 West Randolph, Suite 300). This will be an amazing night with a burlesque theme.

This event is proudly sponsored by Sex Sparkling Wine and More Cupcakes!

Hope to see you there and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
