He did it again! Mickey Rourke, wearing a sleek, black fitted suit, talked up his dogs while chatting with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show this evening.
(Rourke also wore a dapper, narrow silverish scarf and handkerchief in his breast pocket. The metal chain seen hanging from his pants at the Golden Globes was also in evidence.)
Leno brought it up first. "And you thanked your dogs the other night," Leno said. "I thought that was great."
"Yeah, I did," Rourke said.
"How old's that Chihuahua you have?" Leno asked.
"You wanna call it that, 'geriatric chihuahua?'" Rourke joked. "Loki is 17 1/2 years old--knock on wood" (Rapping once with his knuckles on Leno's wooden desk.)
Loki's dad, Beau Jacques the great, he was the best friend in my life I ever had," Rourke said, quietly. "He pretty much...he kept me here on this planet."

During the interview, Rourke also acknowledged that he had a lot of therapy, and that in particular, a therapist named "Steve" and a priest named "Father Pete" helped him heal during a decade long process.
