VIP Opening: Temple Steps
December 2 from 8 to 11 p.m.
Patrick Mimran's "Temple Steps" photography exhibit will be presented by Hamburg Kennedy. Mimran, an installation artist best known for his "Billboard Project," exhibits his most recent endeavor, a series of visually stunning, 8' x 6' photographs of escalators captured in Tokyo from 2006 to 2008. Titled "Temple Steps," Mimran chose the name because he feels that "today's malls are the new temple of the 21st century, and fashion a new God." Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
